Daniel Ellsberg Arrested at Demonstration:
Calls for Support of Pfc. Bradley Manning

Daniel Ellsberg, the former military analyst whose leak of the famed Pentagon Papers contributed to the end of the war in Vietnam, was arrested on March 19, 2011, while participating in a demonstration in support of Wikileaks suspect Bradley Manning. The demonstration was sponsored by Veterans for Peace and other groups. Here’s a quick gallery of photos of the day. The picture of Ellsberg being shackled by police is by Steve Rhodes. See more of Steve’s work on flickr. All other photos are by Jeff Paterson, for Courage to Resist. More of Jeff’s photos of the demonstration are here.
